As a layperson, you can completely forget about a web project as an investment anyway: there are simply too many factors that can only be well assessed with specialist knowledge. However, returns of up to 50% pa are not uncommon if you have the necessary know-how (and a bit of luck). Nevertheless, you should of course not put all your money into such investments (= 1×1 of your investments), but only invest around 10-30% of your capital in them. High return = high risk is a basic formula to which the Internet is no exception.
Where do you buy web projects? In Germany there is only as an acceptable India Car Owner Phone Number List domain exchange. Acceptable because there are enough projects to choose from. However, the sorting functions are completely outdated: information about income is not provided, nor are other important factors. The number of visitors is only tracked if you integrate the Sedo sales banner visibly on your site. Of course you can also send the traffic by email - but who does that? Larger projects in particular are reluctant to have the banner on their website, especially because you don't sell after two days, but often have to wait a long time until a buyer is found.
And more importantly: Who will believe this traffic if you can't directly see where the visitors come from? Of course, this is also due to the fact that Sedo apparently sees itself as a pure domain exchange and wants to know less about project sales. The direct route to purchase is usually unsuccessful: When you write to webmasters asking whether they want to sell their project, you always get a firm “no” or an exorbitant price. In the USA there is the sales exchange which I like much better when it comes to the website.
